Who doesn’t love a good pizza on a Friday night? If you’re in Central Florida and anywhere near the coast, do yourself a favor and look up Panheads Pizzeria.

The original location in New Smyrna Beach was opened by brother-sister team Eric and Felicia Ross in 2010. The restaurant was founded on the principles and recipes handed down from their grandmother, Mabel. She’s still going strong after 43 years in the pizza business.

The duo uses the same techniques as Mabel, including hand rolling the dough and baking the pizza in a square shape pan. When it arrives piping-hot at the table, the slices around the edge come with a nice crunch that will leave your family fighting over who gets the outside pieces. They’re that good!

Panheads serves a variety of specialty pizzas, or you can customize your own from their long list of fresh ingredients.

If you’re not in the mood for pizza, try one of their salads or maybe a homemade meatball sub.

The success of their New Smyrna Beach location has led Eric and Felicia to open a second restaurant on U.S. 1 in nearby Port Orange (pictured below). Be sure to visit the Olive Oil Tasting Room when you go!
